Welcome to our first ACTIONN VOICES blog post!
To deepen our connections with each other, we will be sharing the stories of ACTIONN leaders and others who are working with us for change in Northern Nevada.
On April 2nd, ACTIONN will be holding a big public assembly action to push for implementation of Parent Teacher Home Visits. Leading up to the event, we will post weekly testimonials from teachers and parents who have already begun home visits. Their stories will highlight their personal experiences with the home visits, which build relationships of trust and respect between teachers and parents and ultimately improve the academic performance of students.
